ScotlandI did a poll on discord because that's where most the current runners are asking if they wanted to change the board to be separated into no major glitches and credit warp. Everyone who voted did so for yes although there were not that many votes, as we are a small community If anyone wants to add to this discussion they can either post here or go to the discord if they never saw the post before as I don't want to block anyone from having a say.
Overall I feel this makes the board a more exciting place to submit runs too so I am very excited about the changes and I hope everyone can continue having fun with the amazing game that is Survival Kids. :) Thank you

I can't read the game, streams, forums and more at the top maybe change them to black like the rest of the text? I just don't want other people to struggle reading them like I have :) especially if someone struggles more with reading comes along than I do ^_^ thank you for reading and sorry for such a strange request 0-0

Hey I tried to add you on discord @Punchy but I never got an add as you have messages set to friends only and same server but you are not in the SRC server, after waiting a bit I just decided to message here instead :)
Can Nintendo switch, PS4 and Xbox1 be added as well as pal so I can submit an NS run also I was wondering if easy, normal and hard difficulty could be added for GB so I can submit my GB run which I did on easy difficulty but I also have a Normal one that I still need to upload ^^
Here is my GB run there are quite a few differences :) and I know mine can be improved but I want a place to submit runs before I do that :D I have fallen in love with this game its the best ^^

I just want to say to everyone thank you to all the runs so far, I am not in the discord or anything so I can't really talk to anyone but I did want to say to everyone keep up the good work, its been fun to watch this game grow and stuff :)

If you don't have a capture card you can use a camera to record only thing is the DS has to be visible the whole recording and clear enough to see as an extra thing we need to hear the game sound, okay now on to the other points :)
Hello if you have any feedback, complaints or the like leave them here so I can try and improve the board, I am open to adding new endings and category or amending rules if needed. I will add Skye specific stuff if a run with her is ever done :) and just because something is not the board doesn't mean you can't ask for it, please do ask in fact ^_^
Just in case any one needs to check I changed the rules so that when the R bounces the timer stops, with the old rules there was to much room for inconsistency, but these new rules should fix that.
I already changed the time on the current runs to match but just for the future this is where we stop timing now.

I know this is a meme game and all but why accept all meme runs? I really feel the board should be cleaned up with only real runs and only with runs with splits. although idk why the rules don't state you need videos but that's just me

Hello everyone on the discord channel we have been discussing this zip glitch that you can see on two of the posted runs, TheTrueCorrectGuy and LordHVetinari, Seydie also got this glitch thing to happan in separate videos. She also very kindly put together this comparison video, of the runs of all current wii runs on the board. (To get it to work you need to hold a direction mash at the same time, it may take a few attempts.)
This is me getting the glitch to work and Seydie useing the glitch in a different place, and In the first place we can use the glitch it can save around 15 seconds on a run if done correctly. ? you can all add extra findings to this post or if something gets discussed in the discord we can dump that information here. Hey guys what is your favourite game to speed run and why? or if you don't speedrun what is your favourite games to watch or help with and why? ^^ I think this could be an interesting topic.
( I would put this in guide section but it just a useless ending really)
-I would take the canteen at the beginning because going to the river can waste a lot of time, only try
also do the hut skip
Go to the 2nd beach area besides the river with the second shelter.
-make sure to pick up the items for the kindling, if its not raining always use it besides your shelter other wise you will get a small cut scene sometimes.
-to go to the river when it is raining or you have no food (the river swells when it rains bringing it closer to you.
-the clam always re spawns everyday so use this to your advantage if you get really lucky with fish rng this is probably the fastest method and will keep you full for longer but no way to manipulate it.
you can last a few days without food and water if you really want to sit things out, so you can be a little more reckless then I was. you lose 20 health per night if you don't have any food or water.
(I was very cautious in my run so its probably best to be a little more reckless)
Dein time is invalid he was meant to start from new game but he starts his timer a lot later in to the run just after the text boxs once you are already on the island this would properly make him second place anyway. but he didn't follow the rules.
It is really sad because Dein when I see him around seems like a really nice person and I know he didn't do that on purpose just either extra time needs added to his run or it needs removed he would need around 29.35 seconds added to his time which would make him second place if he has the same timing as MeGotsThis. I feel kinda bad :( but I wanted to mention this

Hey just was looking around on the site thought I might run some games and noticed this series? https://www.speedrun.com/mysterydungeon just wondering why it's this way, have pokemon with Chocobo and Izuna: Legend of the Unemployed Ninja together. Just wondering if there were other boards like this? :) so could you potentially put all shooters together or something? sorry I find stuff and get curious :3
