You eat a bunch of children, sacrifice your blood, play the game at the very specific moon time, dance like crazy prior to the run, and then something is gonna happen.
its not doable, and i refuse to change my mind about this matter. if you have enough time to observe the leaderboards, talk with some good peeps, watch the trends, keep your skill on a decent level, you'll notice a lot of sad things around the speedrunning in general, especially dota one. i might try to bring dota to summer esa 2019, but i doubt i'll have any success. if you want the bots leaderboard based on difficulty that holds all heroes, okay, i'll give you a shot. https://www.speedrun.com/Dota_2/individual_levels

HARDEST SPEEDRUN IN THE WORLD CHECK NOW: https://www.speedrun.com/randomgame (k)
upd: why don't you just practice hard enough to beat that guy?
the other idea i had is to make IL's based on heroes, but this is a meme beyond my understanding
Every hero and every difficulty seems uh... not something easy to implement. Especially the first part.
vs. Bots speedrun could b good, but i've no clue if anything that's not passive / medium or insane would actually matter, since the only difference is the gold/exp that bots gain, and given the game's dead and i gave up on trying to revive it a long time ago, let's start with these three difficulties.
Check the board in ~10-ish minutes.
why don't you just ask people in speedsouls discord? https://discord.gg/speedsouls
not really a feedback, but rather a suggestion: can you block (somehow, idk the specifics) free/fake email generators from passing the registration process? it's not kinda fun to see the talk subforum being polluted by this garbage: http://prntscr.com/kn4mam
u moderov svoya jizn' esli cho, im ne platyat za proverku, tak chto jdi :)
don't you just use the category rules to add whatever stuff you want first, and then add the specific/subcategories rules, based on w/e you wanna see in the lbs? it's not something new, if the community needs more "specific" regulations, they'll do smth.
you don't need over 9k rules for some crappy flash games, based on your emulator version/cpu/game version, unless they fuck up the basic run. and you also can do the current patch/version - past patch/version thing.
i've been always asking myself if i actually wanna b affiliated, so i'm just sticking to 10 ffz emotes i have atm and these 10 peeps that are semi-regularly watching me are fine w/ that.
nice design btw, although it feels that you're only changing the colors of the helmet.
lazy to edit update:
even if you're super good at the game you're running, you have to consider the fact that people that play the game casually (let's say the majority of dota2 players are ~2.7-3k) will have zero clue whats happening, unless someone will explain them what will happen. in general, dota speedruns are interesting to route, but because of the patches theres a lot of things that you can't really plan and you can't really reverse the game's version OR access the maps/events in a legit way (w/o using the workshop). the moment you find the optimal strat, and grind the fuck out of the patch, there's nothing left around. glitches are nonexistent, bugs(huge ones) are getting fixed in the ~60 min. after patch gets released, while the people are literally playing against the time to abuse the fuck out of these bugs (siltbreaker event, dark moon techies exploit). i have a bunch of conversations w/ dota panel guys/pros, and the only "positive" answer was:"well, speedrunning events like dark moon is kinda interesting to do on stream, but i can't really see the future of dota speedruns, and you wrote the exact reasons why, so i don't think i should go any further than that", i had the interview posted on kotaku, i even had a bunch of r/dota2 frontpages, but if you'll take a lazy look at current dota2 leaderboards, you'll see that they are pretty empty, and i don't want to even attempt to waste any more time to re-revive the community. i failed myself as a mod of dota2, and i will never forget myself for that.
as ex-dota2 speedrunner i can say for sure - don't waste your time on that game. you won't build a decent community off the popular mmo game, people won't understand the reason why you're doing this and will utilize speedrun strats for malicious things (cleaning up lpq ie)
same applies for every other mmo game, like dead by daylight's (this game is horrible, don't waste your time on it) solo categories, where you basically have to kill 4 players running across the map in the random places and directions. unless you want some memes on your history.
tl;dr
let it all out get mad destroy a bunch of benches or flip some tables idk
