Also, me and another mod were a little worried about the quintuple death at 10:31, but it just seems to be an issue about hitting deadly objects while touching being non-perpendicular to a wall (or a pillar in your case). We replicated it and everything. Very nice job on this Shroompla!

Hey sorry for taking so long to verify this lol. Thank you so much for speedrunning this game, we can always use new runners! I would recommend watching my WR video for a route that would make you only play 18 levels instead of 19, or just consider swapping The Martian Mash and Excessive Use Of The Force with Beam Me Up if you prefer this route :)

By convention, we end runs on the ending cutscene, and I've interpreted that as the first frame it appears after the final loading screen, not the final trophy grab. I retimed your run to a 37:33, but on PC this would've been a 37:30 or 31. We need to find a better way to compare versions.

I understand WHY we would do this, but would it just be a nice quality of life thing to make it so we don't have to watch the credits to finish a run of these categories?

There's no input required from grabbing the trophy to unlocking the 3 medals and can already determine if you're getting all 3 on the trophy grab.

And I'm not just saying this because the current rules invalidate my current wr in 435 Medals lmao.
