@ShikenNuggets I have the same component to hdmi converter and i dont have (or notice) any audio issues on either the Xbox, PS2 or PSP (i dont use official cables, i couldnt tell you specifics), could be bad cables?

Only issue with that is that the mods would have to input the correct date and might get confusing with older games that had staggered releases(ie European version released 1992 and NA version released 1993) but overall a good start
