...
I'll look into that later today, when I'm back home.
...
It didn't break user IDs being handled correctly so much as that it changed unwanted behaviour where mods had to fill in a userid instead of a name to get it to be associated with that user immediately. User IDs are useful backend, but not something users should be forced to use frontend. Not to mention that behaviour liked to break in some cases (eg numeric usernames).
Also what happened to quotes?
What do you mean what happened to quotes?
It doesn't do that for me. If you're looking at You Have To Win The Game, the reason no mods are showing up for the games is because they are added for the entire series, you'll find them on the Edit series page for the Win The Game series.
i_o_l: can you give an example of that?
Klashik: broken how, exactly?
Hello everyone!
The multicoop update just went live, adding support for coop runs with more than 2 players as well as some other, smaller features. In addition, a variety of bugs have been fixed in all things related to runs.
Since most of the code dealing with runs has been rewritten/changed, it is possible that some new bugs have appeared despite testing before release. If you do find any bugs or have anything else to report about the update, let us know here or if it is security sensitive send an email to lighnat0r ɑt gmail.com
After better consideration, instead of allowing the checkbox to be removed, it will be changed to allow users to choose between:
- Show both
- Show emulator only
- Hide emulator
We'll try to get this change done as soon as possible.
UPDATE: The change has been implemented.
A couple of things:
Mobile behaviour can (and should) be handled separately from non-mobile. Of course as you mentioned the site isn't optimized for mobile anyway, but changing features everywhere just for mobile is not necessary either.
Disallowing gifs to be used for themes is not something I expect many people to have many issues with, afaik there are no themes that are better because they use gifs and a lot of themes that are worse because of it.
Having opacity go from 50-100% instead of 0-100% seems reasonable to still offer the main functionality, but reduce readability issues.
While it is true that large image sizes are a problem for some themes, this can largely be negated by implementing better compression.
Yeah, it looks for and automatically flags any games or series that are not set up after two weeks as per the policy, which are listed so that full mods/admins can then review and take appropriate manual action.
Would've put the flagged content page up earlier, but then my internet dropped FailFish.
It's live now though, and with that the policy will be put into effect.
Re-added. (Note to self: really need to fix the warning preventing locking out)
I've added you as a mod for the existing Metroid Prime game (and moved it to the Metroid series). You're also now a super mod for the Metroid series, so you can add the other games to it yourself.
The separate Metroid Prime series has been removed (as it was still empty anyway).
PeteThePlayer, that's one of the things that will be fixed once the multicoop update goes live (which should be in a few days, hopefully).
...
Thanks for letting us know. The multicoop update which will be done soon will have this fixed.
(The update will also fix several other bugs such as only one name showing up on the level leaderboard for coop runs.)
