14 days is not long enough for this to be an issue. Be patient. If it reaches 1 or 2 months, and they don't respond to attempts to reach them on other social media, go to the request moderation forum.
Damn, dude. I was literally just going to do a run of this today. Way to beat me to it.
Yeah. I've gotten several world records while doing page runs. Heck, even if it's not a WR, I'd say you should still submit it as a PB.
I can feel. I had so damn many runs die to weird af softlocks. May you not have the same problems I did.
Although I've found numerous softlocks on Virus Hunter, this is not one of them. I'm not sure even what would cause this. Maybe try deleting your browsing history and cookies.
Leaving the diner early was something I discovered by sheer luck of timing. I'm not saying I completely understand it, but here's my best guess. There's a small period of time after you've clicked on the door to leave where the game will still consider you in the diner, but before the transition loading screen is completely displayed. The saucer of milk is given to you a certain amount of time after you ask the waitress to fill it (i.e. after her dialog box disappears). If you exit the diner at the right time, you will be given the milk during that period. It will still end up in your inventory, but the loading screen that comes up for the transition to outside overrides the "cutscene" of receiving the full saucer. The setup I use it to stand in front of the tipped over shaker on the table, and click the door when the waitress says sure. If you watch the stream video where I was doing attempts, you can see a couple of times where the card shows up partially before the screen fades to black.
If you'd like me to clarify anything further, I can continue with this thread or you can message me on discord.
I'm currently in the process of routing 100% and I just want to make sure I've found everything. By my count, there are: 11 Gems, 27 Endurance Fruits, 2 Jump Fruits, 40 creatures to kill, and 11 collectible items including the sword at the end, the mushroom and the pearl. If someone else could confirm this, I'd appreciate it.
Nice necro. But here you go. https://github.com/gered/Llanfair
This issue is why Super Mario Odyssey 1.3 was such a big deal. Most of the major OoBs were patched between 1.1 and 1.2. So when the version that everyone can access is the fastest, it's great since it removes all unfairness for people who didn't manage to avoid updating from 1.0.
Can I ask where that question comes from? This is kind of what moderators and community run leaderboards are meant to prevent.
You called the set up of the board silly and site moderation stupid. That's not feedback, that's just complaining. Yes. this site is designed to be a speedrun hub. It was probably never imagined that someone would want to use it to gather run submissions for a competition, as there are already other sites for that. It is not true that "only one person can start/mod a game title anyone else after them is screwed". The initial requester can add as many people as they deem necessary to help moderate. Whoever is moderating should be a member of the community so that they have the best interests for the game and community at heart. You're just looking for an easy way to do this competition. If you don't have time for formal processes that are in place to prevent mishaps, how do you have time for anything?
This would probably vary widely from game to game. Might be better to ask the individual games you're interested in.
I'm seeing it on your profile. If you aren't, clear your site cache.
If the game has a timer, there will be a timer visible in game. If possible, you can also put the game in widescreen rather than full screen and put LiveSplit in "Stay On Top" mode.
It means you requested it and site staff will review it when they get to it.
Can you please explain further what you're asking about? I think you're asking how to be able to see the timer while running, but I'm not certain as you may also be talking about record the run.
If you mean you need something to record runs off a laptop, the go-to is probably OBS. Alternatively, consider the Windows 10 gaming recording plugin or Powerpoint video capture.
