nobody would leave on 13 pearls and throw 2, the remaining 17 gold could easily let him finish the run. using a pearl to get out of the wrong chunk would have saved him time and potentially the run

FSG is definite proof that it can be beaten. zylenox choked a surefire world record, so my guess is by the end of this year

Note: if you're going to post a seed in the forums, it has to be really good to the point where it has potential to beat the world record. If not, post it in the discord to see if they can find better routes/categories for it. It's not worth notifications for a mediocre seed.

Criteria for a good/possible SSG seed:

1. It must have a way of entering the end without eyes, i.e., a 12 eye or glitched portal. In the future, there might be a seed that is an 10 or 11 eye that has a fast way of getting a few eye of enders, but currently, there is none.

2. It must have a fast way of getting to the end, which means there has to be a way to enter the nether and back, so 21+ obi from blacksmith or completable ruined portal and enough obi to get back to the overworld. While lava pools can get you to the nether, they are too slow for SSG.

3. The stronghold must be accessible. This means that the nether terrain has to be navigatable, and the stronghold must be relatively close.

4. There must be a way to kill the dragon. Usually, that is beds from a village, but there could be string from a bastion, etc.

5. The end terrain has to be decent. In the new 1.17 seed, you have to dig out of the spawn platform, but it doesn't lose much time because of the fast overword/nether and having an iron pick. The land also has to be flat, to run to the fountain quickly for a perch.

6. Run the seed yourself. Time yourself up to the setup - placing obi on the fountain (this is to stop perch RNG from ruining the run). If it is close/beating the WR, then it is a good seed.

honestly, this is just such an amazing idea, I will run the seed later.
