Yea using phone to record, you can realy use any setup with physicaly anythig that helps you to point to the TV as you please You can also stream it instead of storaging it in your phone to avoid storage problems (if you want to not stream it publicly, an option is a hidden stream on youtube)
If you mean the invincibility bell, apparently you can only obtain it by scanning the cat mario or the cat peach amiibo, which makes for a pretty pointless category lol The category would only consist on instantly scanning an amiibo as soon as you start the game, lasting essentialy a few seconds, and is completly dependent of having said amiibo(s) to be runned

if you mean like submitting and run still not being there, is because it has to go through verification (in which case you just sended the same run submission 5 times in a row lol)

The livesplit you secondly talk about is not that hard to use
In first place, use the blocknum-8 to toggle on and off the global hotkeys of the timer (detected by the color of the icon in the icons bar, green or red). If it is toggled on (green), it will work without needing to switch tabs at all.
You can also right click the livesplit and go to "settings", where you can change the button you want to use to start and end the timer, as well as the toggle of the timer if the blocknum-8 doesn't work to you for any reason, among others.

ey i remember years ago running this category after seeing a youtuber's video about it (ElRichMC) is a p fun category with some variety of requirements, i would bet for it
is not even about how often they verify runs in general to me, but about the fact that there are actual runs in the ce being verified after 1-2 months, as is visible in the recent runs info, while there are various other runs with multiples months of waiting that for some reason are being completely ignored who knows why
wow 1 whole year for that it may have been a classic src error with the run submission or smth, otherwise that is just excesive to a new whole level lmao, i realy can't understand why they would leave that concrete run out in the top of the verification pending for 1 whole year
