I only really play Mansion of Madness but I can confirm there's a Deerhaunter skip and a Princess glitch to pass through the rubble.

If that's how you want to run this game in the 3 categories that accept segmented I say go for it!

Segmented allows for the flaws of the run to be isolated and fixed in the easiest way and for some it's just easier to upload many little videos as opposed to the one big one single segment would take.

I believe you will find that levels is broken down into two categories RTA and IGT. The IGT pauses whenever you use a special attack, originally runs just turned into spamming special attacks as often as you could to pause the timer and make progress, but this turned out to sorta kill the whole point of speedrunning as it would eat up way more RT and just not be fun. https://www.speedrun.com/one_piece_pirate_warriors_3/thread/ztqkd

I believe Co-Op uses IGT as the original person who requested that category also requested it to be IGT so they could pause and their partner could join? I don't have a link for that one so I could be wrong.

I personally don't care if you pause both the timer and game to go take a restroom break as long as you make it clear that's what you're doing.

I recently picked up learning IL's for this game for the fun of it but I run it using the Mouse and Keyboard with the Dolphin emu.

Is there gonna be a place to submit runs like that or will I have to wait until 2043 when there's an official PC release of this game? lol

Honestly, we may just have to scrap all of segmented if we go through with this.

I agree that we need a mode for not spamming specials to freeze the timer. As it takes more time and sort of kills the whole point of a speedrun in my opinion.

When I first created that rule I imagined people would want to hit the split as soon as the lanky fella died so they could get it off their minds!

Truly though just hit it and time the split whenever you're comfortable and we'll adjust accordingly!

I love the idea for the this as a Misc. Category! I'll add the category but if it's going to be a segmented speedrun I'll need you to make a proper playlist with only the times you want to submit with times from each DLC stage.

Alternatively we can make this a real time run and you record it all in one go from start to finish.

Segmented and individual levels are the only ones that use in-game time. Sorry for the confusion!

And you are absolutely allowed to use whoever you want to or need to whenever you decide to switch.
