pretty sure you can't make sub splits on livesplit one, but if you download livesplit, right click, edit layout, delete splits, click the plus, list subsplits and then put a hyphen at the beginning of each split then a bracket at the end of a section you want subsplits for followed by the last split of the section (i.e. NSMBW Any%: -1-1, -1-2, -1-3, {World 1} 1-Cannon, -5-1, -5-3, -5-Tower, -5-4, -5-GH, {World 5} 5-Cannon. . .) not sure if I explained it well, if not there're videos how to do it.

Hey, kinda new here, I started running the game a couple days ago. I read all of the forums and it seemed like a decent amount of people would like to have separate categories one without chest boosts and/or the glitch that shoots you to the top and one with. So I was wondering why a glitchless or no major glitches category hasn't been made.

question, I've been planning to do a 100% run of the series for a while just never got around to it, if we want to submit a run the category do we need a video of the run, I'm assuming yes but thought I'd ask anyways

since you're allowed to do runs from a completed file are you allowed to do the K Level anywhere in the run or do you still have to do it after you collect all of the KONG letters in the world you're running

Is all castles just the castles at the end of each world or is it the castles as well as the towers?

You could try the controls that are used on the switch where B is jump, Y is dash, and ZR is grab I don't know what X and A are but I do know they're just another dash and jump. Hope this helps.
