My day is just starting and it's going well. Just finished my coffee. Making sure the kids get ready for school. Work is gonna be nice and easy today.
Bebe's Kids on SNES -The graphics suck. Looks like someone doodled in MS paint. -The controls are horrid and sluggish. It's like the kids are jumping and punching underwater. -The enemies take FOREVER to kill while there is an unfair time limit. -The music loops over the same notes every four seconds. It is torture.
It's a difficult game for all the wrong reasons. Pure garbage.
I liked: Roast tarantula, lutfisk, cow's eyes, sannakji (live octopus), cobra shot I hated: Beondegi (boiled silkworm pupa) Meh, never again: Fugu
Every time I go to dunkin, I order french crullers and toasted coconut. I actually enjoy dipping them in my coffee and eating the residual coconut shreds.
I am a programmer. I enjoy coding both at my job and during my leisure. Every day I look up new algorithms to try and see if I could put my own spin on it. Racing is another hobby of mine (speed running in a car, technically?) and I am currently saving thousands of dollars for modifications on my mustang gt and a sweet new ride that I should be able to afford next year.
I use Hyper X Cloud Flight.
I was tired of dealing with bent cords, trying to gently push them to the exact fraction of a millimeter so they could work. Went wireless and... although that issue is eliminated I get a bit annoyed when the only indication of the charge are beeping noises. My only complaint is the vague battery life. Other than that, they serve me well.
Thunderforce IV
I love listening to this song while driving my ruby red beast on the track. Nothing like speed metal while rolling over 120 mph in a loud 5-liter V8.
Strikers 1945 II - Devil's Tower
Unforgettable melody that rings in my heart.
Tekken 5 - Hall of Fate
Crisp and beautiful!
Castlevania Dracula X - Bloodlines
Takes me back. <3
Return of Double Dragon - Apartment Stairs
To me this embodies the very essence of Double Dragon.
The narrator was pretty poewrful. "Next time on Dragon Ball Z!"
Here's to your next strange and wonderful journey around the sun! Happy birthday, OP! Cheers!
Super Castlevania IV I am a major fan of Castlevania and this one hits my heartstrings the most. The soundtrack, enemy variety, effects, graphics, level design, mechanics... it is a masterpiece.
I watched Malignant last night. If you want to watch a new horror movie with practical effects and a juicy payoff, this is it. Not AMAZING but it definitely wasn't bad and I felt mostly entertained.
On a flight back home, I lost my purse that had over $400 cash in it, my license, credit cards, etc. It was stowed beneath my seat and I was up all night worrying about it. Around a month later, I got it back in the mail with everything in it. All $400 of my money was still there.
Whoever found my purse, I wish I could've given them $100 as a reward for being honest. People can be awesome sometimes.
Already won gold on the Primal Rage hardest difficulty run. I might try the Any% and Default runs next. As for finding a new game to speedrun, I am unsure. I might try Castlevania Dracula X or Splatterhouse II.
Neon trash, 80's slasher/horror, campy Tromafilms, retrogaming. In so far as music, I enjoy dark 80's style music such as Dance with the Dead and Mr. Kitty. Video game music is an all-time favorite genre as well, especially soundtracks from SNES/Genesis. As for fashion, I love to deck myself out like a gearhead/punk inspired by Castlevania and Double-Dragon. And on my lazy days I'mma slap on an old-skool band tee like NIN or Nirvana.
Piano. Stereotypical strict parents wanted me to stop messing around. Started when I was 10.
For awhile I had to practice the piano for 30 minutes a day and longer if I was being punished. But as I grew older, I came to appreciate the overall complexity of the piece, richness of the sound, and dexterity of the pianist. Yes, it's easy to namedrop all the songs everyone else played such as Fur Elise, Rondo Alla Turca, Nocturne, and Moonlight Sonata. But this also exposed me to modern classical music as well. Probably my favorite so far is Julien Boulier's 'Estuaire Absence'.

I love prime numbers mainly due to how perfectly they can be applied to modulus functions.
