Hi, so I started doing my first runs of this last night, and had some suggestions for the leaderboards to make them more presentable and cleaned up.
-
The main category is unnecessarily worded, as the mode in game is just called "Multi Mission", and doesn't have hyphens. Specifying "Main Game" is irrelevant.
-
Having Misc categories for a game with one main category is just ugly and unneeded. There are way too many options in the drop-down that could be condensed into a single main category called "Single Mission", with subcategories for each table. Magmoor isn't technically part of Single Mission, but having a separate category for Wireless Mission for Magmoor might be unnecessary. Also, Magmoor is misspelled.
-
Adding a new main category that completes Level 3 of every game mode in a table, specifically for Pirate Frigate and Tallon Overworld, each one having their own subcategory. This is more of a completion category. The category could be called "All Modes" or "Max Modes". Timing begins when you select the table and ends when you collect the final Special from completing the last mode on Level 3. This is done on Single Mission. If a moderator would like me to do a run and provide a video demonstrating the category before considering adding this, I will make one.
Thanks for your time!
DISC-LESS PC RUNS
A new version of the PC Rip has been added to the resources. This version is an improved version of the previous PC Rip, in that cutscenes will now play. This is significant as it makes running without a disc identical to playing with a disc. Cutscenes are obviously skippable and add minor time to those runs that didn't have cutscenes, but now runs are 100% comparable.
Since this version has been confirmed to work, it has replaced the old version. All previous runs that used the old Rip without cutscenes will be grandfathered in, but any future submissions will REQUIRE this version to be used to be accepted. This does not affect those who run on disc already, as cutscenes normally play when using the disc.
Instructions are included in the download link on how to install it properly.

Please do not submit milliseconds when submitting your runs. Most of the time the milliseconds given after the final split are inaccurate without a retime. Milliseconds will only be used in the case of a tie. Just submit the time as minutes and seconds with no rounding. IL submissions are exempt from this rule and milliseconds are required.
Use this thread if you'd like to see more categories added to this leaderboard page. If submitting, please follow these rules.
Rules for Submission
- For new categories, please provide the name of the run to be added, the rules, and a video of the run already done. We want to avoid empty categories if possible.
- Do not request categories just for the sake of adding them.
- If submitting a full game run that uses IGT, make sure it is Single Segment. No Segmented runs will be allowed.
Note: Mods may discuss new categories that are suggested to be added. Categories may be rejected if the mods feel they do not fit.
Leaderboard for other runs that aren't listed on the main board can be most likely found here: https://www.speedrun.com/mpce
I noticed that a few runs for the PC version never have a cutscene show up that needs to be skipped. Why is this the case? Reason I bring this up is that I don't think this should be allowed. I run on the actual disc so I have to skip custcenes.

Hi I just have a question. Is the route listed anywhere for this game or will I need to watch a run to find the route?
Also, is running the Wii version slower than PS3 and if so, by how much roughly?
I don't run this game (yet), but I've noticed that there a inconsistencies for the time of runs. Some runs have no delay and the final time is that, and others use a delay and that run's final time is with the delay. Why is that?
Just curious. Anyway you could add those not as popular runs as misc categories (max% x, natural route, other runs)? Or rather think about it?
Is there a need for series mods to Moderate this game? I think (as does the other current runner) feel that only us runners should mod the game. Thoughts?
