@MrDumDumDugan You could have just asked for a name change >_>
The discord is pretty active at times. If you need help, just ask.
It's not that it's negative. It's just that a series mod is NOT needed. If I recall correctly, they wanted to remove series mods anyways. One or two people shouldn't be in charge of many games, which may all be different communities entirely.
No clue, but I'm sure they'd give some sort of warning.
Which they won't I feel like. If they cared, they would have had all the AM2R videos on YouTube taken down (which they haven't). I'd say it's safe to stream it.
I think that Twitch would warn you if you can't stream a certain game, if it's not on the prohibited list. If they just outright shut down a stream that'd be wrong IMO.
If either the mod doesn't verify the run, or you cannot contact them during the 3 week period, then just make another post here about a moderation request.
Requiring a timer to submit is like saying that a speedrun isn't a speedrun unless it is timed, which is wrong. A timer should never be required nor be used as proof.
2 days is no time at all. This thread is only for when the moderator is inactive for at least 3 weeks.
If I may, I used to be a series mod for the DK Series (which fell through) and tbh, a series mod is not needed. If each game has its own mods, a series mod is useless. Communities should be run from within each game, not a few people looking over an entire series of games. It should be up to the moderators to take care of the games they moderate. But, that's just my opinion.
See this thread: http://www.speedrun.com/mp/thread/xlzu3 It's a different situation, but this idea is discussed in the thread.
The seconds thing is actually in development for the site. In the future, we'll have the ability to determine the accuracy of both RTA and IGT on the whole site. So like you could remove the thousandths from RTA or remove the blank seconds from the IGT. Nothing that can be done atm though.
While it is nice to see more data (route), I feel it clutters up the leaderboards quite a bit. If there was an alternative method that could show the route but not listed on the runs page that would be nicer IMO.
Another Suggestion: I know that there are different categories but what about putting any% and glitched together, with subcategories of "No Major Glitches" and "Major Glitches." This is not a category naming question, just a matter of simplifying stuff.
Belthasar it'll probably be changed to s,ms im pretty sure. There no option to have ' as the separator.
Yeah I guess that makes sense. But putting the GT categories together makes sense to me. Also RBO to Reverse Boss Order because that bothers me :P
Why not merge the categories to reflect like deertier? I don't actually mean merge. I mean use subcategories. Like for 100%, have a subcat for map and one for items. Same for GT code stuff: one for spacetime, one for classic. Etc
I don't run this game (yet), but I've noticed that there a inconsistencies for the time of runs. Some runs have no delay and the final time is that, and others use a delay and that run's final time is with the delay. Why is that?
