on the rooftop level right after having the choice of getting the uzi, sometimes the 2nd guy on the lower roof doesn't spawn in. is it a consistently replicable glitch or bug? it sort of helps.

Ever since my "heroic" (I don't even remember any of the other words used) run at RGDQ half-blox 2, everyone has asked for me to get 3:16. to be honest, ever since hitting my 3:17 I felt like I hit a wall and stopped running. I felt little to no incentive in running a game I felt I could barely improve upon. But the support from the viewers at RGDQ have made me filled with a lot more determination and want to even run this game. It was one of my first speedgames I ever uploaded runs to. So, to accomplish the goal I set for myself nearly three years ago at this point, I'll be running again for some time a day in order to hit a lower 3:16. It probably won't be livestreamed on twitch OR youtube, but I might join the RGDQ voice chat and do a few runs there. For the few fans and viewers that want me to do good. Announcing here because I just wanted to. If all goes well and I don't feel dead within like a week, I might even attempt to reach 3:15. Hell, might even try to get doorless WR, the one and only WR I've ever achieved in this game.

i'm trying to get back into running this game, i reinstalled version 2.0, but now it just only shows the godot engine screen and nothing else. sometimes crashes out of, sometimes keeps staying on there. am I missing something? it's a complete fresh install of version 2.0 as well.

You guys have talked about a discord, and there is a discord linked in the rules, but that link is invalid. Is there still even a discord?

I'm giving about 5 days to run through that level and learn it before putting the level onto the leaderboards. The level is The Compound and that's the first level for Chapter 2 of Sneak Thief.

rule states that any modification in the kart menu is allowed. any is a little too broad because of drifting. should there be a drifting category? or no drifting at all

I think we may need a little more on the rules, are we allowed to use FPS Unlocker? (If this is allowed, R.I.P Android Runs.) Will the WR for Earth, using a reset to the start to start timer there be allowed? I think we should have more than video + audio proof and start and end.

for a full on level completion, if you kick a bit before the blue box end it counts as your hitbox and you can finish it a smidge early. could be only in the demo as i dont have the full game, i did not see it used once in the 100% full game, again very minimal but something i found slightly interesting and could be interesting for other people, or it could be already known and im wasting my time typing this away

Hey, I have a small question about how to size the placement (1st, 2nd, 3rd) badges, because I got one image to fit absolutely perfectly, but then the others just don't look good/accurately sized to it. What's the recommended sizing for them? I don't know if this is the absolute best place to put it, but I guess it is site based but I wanna know how to actually make them look half decent.

Only 2 maps have sure optimizations:

Farm: Nearly a second from a slightly alternate route, difficult to replicate. (Verified Possible.)

Collector: Nearly half a second from just being overall better. (Verified possible, has been done without a recording.)

What maps are incredibly optimized:

Bank: At this point, Bank can only be improved by faster pickups. An alternate route or glitch has not been found to improve times.

Jewelry Store: This run might be one of the most optimized maps out of all 7. The previous WR was a 10.540. It took practically 2-ish months to lower to 10.530. It could be possible to be much quicker, but until then the WR runs for this level might be extremely difficult.

Home Invasion: Home Invasion has reached a point where the route is most likely the fastest route. The only way to be even faster is a good code and even better pick ups.

Yacht: This one is incredibly difficult, however can be improved. This one run has took an extreme amount of attempts, and it's difficult.

Diamond Heist: The zleed skip/clip has seriously changed the game and has allowed the WR to go from 1:35.300 to 56.800, which is absolutely INSANE time save. However, the glitch is A) difficult to pull off B ) repeated twice. Because of this, expect minimal time saves. (at most, 1.20 seconds, as of 8/6/2021 10:34 PM Central Time Zone)

I mainly uploaded this so people can choose which runs they would like to attempt the most, and what would be easiest and what they would like. If you want recommendations on where to start, I would say Bank or Diamond Heist, as they are relatively easy to speedrun casually.

A: The timer is server-side, meaning that the timer is all ran on the server that you are in. If the timer was client-side, which meant the timer is dependent on your game's FPS, would actually be bannable.

Q: Does FPS Unlocker affect pick-ups?

A: Again, almost all events at this moment of the forum are all server-sided. Your FPS really doesn't affect much at all, (again, at the moment of the post.)

Q: Why does the game run almost all on server-sided stuff?

A: TimeReset, the developer and one of the mods for the page originally had it when he first made his game to prevent as much cheating as possible. In example, you can pick-up everything in the vault room in bank in like 3 seconds because of autoclickers and other things related. Keeping it server-sided would have reduced the amount of hacks/autoclickers that could change speedruns/playthroughs in general.

Dylan has finally gotten to 3:16, which also reminded me that this game even existed. We have to applaud him for that run, he did an amazing job. I might even come back to running after getting 3 separate notifications from that one run. Hopefully will get top 3 if I do even manage to return. But still, congrats to dylan for that run.

leaderboards seem dead, with the last time the mods were on were months ago, yet it says it has 12 active members?

I feel like no one remembers this, but do you guys think that holding S is faster? It feels faster to me, IDK

I recently installed it and was testing it out and I feel like it makes my life easier in games like Arsenal and crap but is it allowed for speedrunning categories in this or no?

It actually has ONE set of doors that is slightly helpful. After the cup part continue forward for a bit, and the door with the guard blocking it can open after doing doors in console commands. It might save two or three or so seconds. Really, that's it.

Everytime I do trainclip I'm stuck, not even able to move, on the train with G-Man. Other times I get stuck directly in the cart behind. Or there is a white screen. What am I doing wrong?
