Until we figure something out, please post the patch version number on your run descriptions on the leader board, so we can more easily identify the version used to run the game.
You could just add a variable, so you can/have to choose a version number, which will be displayed next to the run. This also allows to filter the runs after version, so only the runs with the same version are shown.
If wanted, you could set the newest version as default, so older versions are automatically blend out, but can still be viewed, if so desired. It's also possible, to just display all runs of all versions ofcourse.
Adding to that, it's possible that one person can have multiple runs on the leaderboard, if there are on a different version.
It's not like the unactive runners will care about it anyways. So, sure go ahead.
You Jump when your back foot is right at the edge (or just really close)
hold jump and left and blink when the middle of your head is at the middle pipe of the 3 in the background
It is kinda hard to get used to the timing, but once you understand it, you will start getting it quite often.
Using 1.3.1 is indeed faster than current, because you can not only to the bridge clip, but also use the new king skip (which saves 2 minutes).
I don't know which platform you use, but if it is PC you do this for 1.3.1: http://www.speedrun.com/Teslagrad/guide/cte0n
If you are on console, we never discussed the version issue, simple because nobody really runs that category. (If this is the case, I will see what we can do)
Try to higher the priority in taskmanager while it's open. It helped for me when I needed it.
(set it on higher than normal or high, but not realtime(ignore the german =P))
Also what Dioxymore said, loading a save before starting the real run helps too.
I'm not saying they have to specifically search for such threads. Just if they happen to see one, move it to the right forum.
I often see threads in 'talk' which belong to 'speedrunning' and vice versa. Also with other forums. For the sake of clarity, wouldn't it be better if moderators would move such threads in the forum they belong to?
Most forums do this and it would just help making the site more clear and ordered.
Also, another suggestion: Why not separate the request threads and 'the site' threads with a request forum? All these sticky threads on top of the site forum could just form an own forum.
Hey, So this user registered 2 weeks ago and was last online 2 weeks ago. He didn't do anything on this page yet. Doesn't sound bad yet, right?
The thing is that he connected a twitch account, which is, if you go look on it, a really sketchy 24/7 non speedrunning and gaming related show (which already breaks the rules of twitch). This stream now always appears in the streaming list, which I assume is to get attention for this channel. (It even looks like the owner of the channel bought views and followers. 22 million views + 4000 followers, but no viewers)
Account in question: http://www.speedrun.com/user/Devan
It would probably be best to ban this account.
Edit: I also just realised, that it may be a good idea, to only allow people on the streampage, which have an accepted run on their account.

-I recommend Livesplit. It's the most accurate and most customizable Timer out there.
-If you don't find any runs, then it most likely means, that nobody ran it yet. So you can decide the rules yourself and also route it yourself.
If the person working on the autosplitter script gets it to work, we might have the option to remove loading times from our timer.
I don't think I still have to reply, because it already determined itself, but I am doing it anyways:
RTA is used, because the ingame timer can be easily manipulated with reloading your savefile, which is not really accurate as you might guess.
This also makes the difference between PC and PS4 irrelevant.
