Hello everyone, the Wii Series Speedrunning community is going to be putting on our third speedrunning tournament, this time for Wii Sports Resort - All Sports! Anyone is allowed to enter, all you need to be able to do is record your gameplay (via capture card, phone, webcam, iPad, etc).

Hey yall, old time X360 player of CastleMiner Z. Recently, my friends and I just got the game for PC. We spent the last 4 hours or so beating endurance mode, and killing the undead dragon. We were wondering if adding a Co-op category would be cool for the leaderboards? None of us were recording, but I can provide screenshots of the achievements as a start. 3:37:00 (just proving that hey, we actually did it and I'm not Bsing.) Cheers!

Hello everyone, we are going to be putting a Wii Sports Golf Tournament! Anyone is allowed to enter, even if you can't stream or record with a capture card. Once we decide on a game, we will start the matches starting December 3rd.
For those who don't know, the goal in either Wii Sports Golf or Wii Sports Resort Golf is to complete the holes as fast as possible.
For those who can stream, all of the matches will be restreamed to the ResortFest International Twitch, and all matches will be highlighted and posted on the RFI Youtube. The finals match will be live during ResortFest: Winter Rush on February 2nd, 2019.
Here is where YOU get to voice your opinion. There is an announcement in the Wii Series Speedrunning Discord that you can react with what game you want to do.
R = Wii Sports Resort 18 Hole Golf
O = Wii Sports 9 Hole Golf
You can vote on both if you can join both tournaments. Voting will end November 25th at midnight. If you vote on a game, we expect you to participate in the tournament. Even if you think you suck, you can't be as bad as Danny on WSR so you'll be fine. This is for fun and to bring the community together. And who knows, maybe you'll come out being the next great Legend.

Good evening everyone. Cmdr from the Wii Sports Resort moderator team here and after a few months we have an update for you. We got some cool things ahead, so sit tight.
New Category: All Sports+
As Gamingland has came up with, All Sports+ is coming to WSR. Complete with 18 hole runs of Golf and Frisbee Golf. You'll see this category over on the WSR Category Extension boards.
Score Attack Categories moving to CE
Little controversial here, all of the score attack categories are going to move over to the Category Extension board. This cleans up the main boards per request of some of the uppers. This also gets rid of our fun bug on LiveSplit where the Golf WR is 0.050 seconds. PogChamps.
WSR/OGWS Tournment
We are currently putting in the works a WSR or OGWS tournament. We will be taking a vote soon. It will be double elimination, and the finals match will be during ResortFest: Winter Rush in February. Hello everyone, we have decided to move to our own Darkest Dungeon Speedrunning Server. The link is right below. We are still in the process of adding channels and setting stuff up, but we are happy to take any requests or if you have any ideas to help.
Good morning everyone, we have a very small rules change set for September.
Cycling will be IGT only
Due to loading time differences between PAL and NTSC, we are going to have Cycling be IGT only. Pretty straight forward, it does change the leader board quite a bit, but RTA really shouldn't of ever been a way to calculate time one of the two games that actually has a timer. The RTA times will be wiped off come later this evening when I finish teaching.
There are in the works to allow limited emulated runs and usb loader of certain categories
This is something we are still working the kinks of on what times you could get. We do know that emulated and usb load times are so much faster than any console version. We are just trying to open up the boards to more players. More details of this will be out in October's rules set.
Cheers everyone, with the growth of Darkest Dungeon comes runs during marathons, so to encourage this we now have a marathon leaderboard! So if you ever have successfully completed a run of Darkest Dungeon at a marathon, feel free to either submit the run yourself or send me the video on Discord (or post it down in the comments below) and I'll happily submit the run for you! I hope this encourages people to run the game more and brings new people in.

Also as a little update, Darkest Dungeon is going to be features in several upcoming marathons!
September 22nd at 11:39am EST is the Necromancer race between Tricrow, SkipMcLazy, and Cmdr at Pixel's for Peace There will be a Swine Prince race between the same three people at Fight Against Time Recharged sometime from November 9th-11th. October 13th is a race betwee**n Tricrow and SkipMcLazy at **ResortFest: Fall Fright where YOU can decide which boss they face (Necro, Swine, Hag, Siren). Also there is a donation incentive to watch Cmdr use the PS4 to his advantage and show off the broken Crocodillian fight after the race. Also during Tough as Nails Cmdr will be running Necromancer.
There are many more marathon runs coming, but at the moment these are the ones confirmed.
