This game does have the double stat based off juggle/combo. The required combo is dependent on whether they would regularly drop a x1/x2/x4/x8/x16 though
Sorry, I've been kind of getting my butt kicked by work and some ongoing health issues. I'm finally in a healthier place and off the daily Ibuprofen strats, so I'm going to try to knock out a little at a time on what is currently pending.
As for the rules clarification on getting a 4th weapon while on Easy in either Free Mode or Musou Mode: I don't see an issue with that as long as the start of the run is from a new file. The Character Unlock category is weird in that you aren't really locked into a difficulty throughout an entire run like most video games. Heck, if you wanted you could probably do all Chaos and submit it under Easy since that is only making it harder on you.
I would say no to the vice versa situation though. For example, I wouldn't accept a submission for Character Unlock Normal if any Musou modes were done on Easy. I'm on the fence if I would allow any work done on Easy in Free Mode either for Normal or higher (like getting Red Hare, etc.)
The Unlock All Characters Easy WR has the fast version of OOB they use in some instances as well.
I also had some OOB examples on my YT as well but just never posted them. Toru, you good if I dump that in resources since yours is more detailed and you actually explain what you are doing in your video?
I'm not going to pretend this is a highly competitive board, I'd prefer you do what is healthy for you. You can either pause livesplit or notate/announce when you are stopping for a break during the run. Just to make things easy on me, just notate the timestamps of a break when submitting a run. And if for whatever reason livesplit doesn't get stopped or something breaks I can just make a guestimated calculation and deduct seconds if needed for safety.
OOBs are fine on any category unless stated other wise. I'm pretty sure the WR holder for Unlock Characters% uses OOBs throughout the run.
I've always used PCSX2 when it comes to emulation. I have no experience with using any other PS2 emulators.
As for 2 player, that sounds cool, go for it. I will not be making separate categories for it though, you can just submit those to the main boards where they would apply. This board is already littered with to many categories because that's just kinda how the game is. Although there are some benefits to 2 player, you may also end up losing time due to additional post map menus. I can't think of much routing that would benefit from 2 player as most maps are "Rush the commander" or "OOB to avoid objectives" or "Wait until Cao Cao spawns at Chang Ban".
If people have been using Turbo, I haven't even noticed to be honest. I can't think of much that would benefit you there either. I've just been making sure people haven't been using PNACH codes or any saves that have used them.
