Personally I prefer runs to be as 'pure' as possible- which for me would mean default shoes and no clips/glitches, etc. Just navigating through a level as fast as possible.
Maybe have an any% category and like any% "classic" or "glitchless"?
Right now it's 7:33 -- I haven't run much because I wasn't putting a ton of effort into a scene I thought might have been dead. I also haven't done any extensive research into routing or strats. Definitely thinking I can push sub 7.
Might keep running 0.6 if there's interest in that case!
Yeah, I wouldn't be looking to be added to the 0.8 leaderboard obviously.
I like 0.6 myself, the new levels and mechanics are nice but I haven't tried any routing on it yet. I like the simplicity of 0.6 and might keep running it if the community winds up being active and such.
I'm not really sure how relevant it is, but I do have a 7:33 run that's been pending for 4 months on 0.6 Any%.
Hey all,
Been trying to update/fix the autosplitter for Anger Foot 0.6 and I'm struggling to find the values that I need.
Does anyone have experience with this sort of thing, or know who I could talk to in order to help? Thanks!
Also I suppose whether they do or don't disqualify a run, the rules might wanna be updated to reflect that.
I ask because I was running expert the other day and topping out like crazy (lol), but the end time I would have had despite that probably would have still been not miserable.
Does a top out end a run, or could a run be submitted with a top out and still count?
Will Journey Mode speedruns done on TE: Connected be counted on the same leaderboards as TE?
There's no difference between the two games that I can gather, but I'd just like that clarified, since I'm gonna be running TE:C from now on.
Thanks!
Well, looks like 23 minutes has been utterly demolished. Time to cry at my 30:23. :(
I suppose it can't hurt to be as precise and specific as possible with rules, but if anyone thinks they're getting a time be starting in stage 2 or 3, I imagine the run would be rejected by the moderators, no?
