dude dw i was doing a world peace run and i had about 10-20 minutes of footage from a 3 hour run in a seperate video and they declined it, it really sucks
we could do 450 moons min captures, cus thats the max ammount of moons you can get in the minimal ammount of captures (15)
all bosses, or a refight%, also a no unrequired captures category would be nice, although obviously some sections like the frog at the beginning and the bowser part at the end are required captures
you cant get the 2d section in an any% run, the ice gets in the way and you cant stand on the platforms
i dont see much oppritunity for skips in this game, like besides making jumps or jumping over barriers. im talking about clips, this game is so well built there probably wont be more that 1-3 clips, if not, then none. although im guessing the final world record of 2017 will be around 1:05
oh nice, ive tried doing that in my normal run but i always end up missing them because of 3d game jank, although i think that the time saved compared to ground pound pipe entry and crouch pipe entry is pretty small, and would only come into effect when the WRs start becoming super tight, for now it doesnt matter but ill try to test it !
also you can skip the bosses in tostarina, wooded, and lake in a 124 star playthrough, so this would be great
also xerian, i mean skip going OVER the wall, go under and 2 moons are there iirc
