I noticed in Azarah's 7-4 runs that they somehow clipped out of the entrance hallway. I've tried it but keep getting stuck in the floor. Has it been patched? If not, how would I go about doing it?
yeah in my experience you just get stuck in the floor like 70% of the time its kinda just luck whether you get through quickly or not
Not patched, I've been asked about it a few times so I'm planning on making a vid when I have time, but in short:
- Freeze rocket in tunnel
- Do a normal jump -> clipped into floor
- If head above ceiling then wrong clip, slide and go to step 1
- Floor has potholes in, walk into pothole (I always dash to a specific one)
- Stand still, then tap a directional key (I'm tapping w in my vids)
I imagine for anyone that's struggling it'll be step 5 that's catching them out. I find the overall process somewhere around 75% consistent and would do it in fg runs, but it is a bit of a pain for IL runs to get the clip quickly.
What I've found is that it's easy to do the first clip (with the rocket) if you bring up the weapon wheel, but the "pothole" section is annoying to clip with. I keep hearing the falling sound plus a few impact sounds scattered in between, and it seems more like a 10% chance for me. I guess I just need to practise.
The Re-poll has arrived, many pointed out with the last poll we ran that the update would change a lot of the out of bounds clips and those should be re-done. Since then some different clips have been found and others have changed, even a new universal clip was found so we believe it's time to redo
