Rocketclipping

I've struggled to find many resources on rocketclipping. To me, it feels like all rocket-clips are situational and mostly random. You (meaning me) can never know which geo will allow for one, or if the rocketclip will work on a specific attempt. Are there any guiding principles or tips out there? Is there any geo you can completely rule out? Are there any angles that always fail? etc.

Also, I'm aware that rocketclipping has changed with patches. I know it was very easy when act II released, and that it became harder after the next patch. I don't know if anything has changed in the updates since then, however.

Thank you in advance, dear reader

I'm not entirely sure since I havent tested it toooooo much but from what I remember the upwards facing rocket cliping always worked for me on walls that didnt have proper walljump tags so you couldnt walljump off that part of the wall atleast thats what I've noticed with the few I have tried. As for the teleport rocket clips I have no idea how you'd go about finding those ones.

The rocket teleports should be patched with the last patch.

Untagged walls will always be somewhere where you can clip through. these can be easily found by any surface that you cant jump off of, you can shoot through, but it will stop you from going through. (an easy example of this is the big wall to the right in the first room of 1-4)

Lastly is the rotation clips that can still happen. these tend to be in places where the player could technically fit but cant get into. these are a little harder to find but they are larger holes in the geometry so you would need to look for that.

Those are the only two types of rocket clipping that should still exist and as far as I am aware Hakita has no plans to patch those since those tend to be issues with the levels instead of the rocket.
