Not sure if anything like this is applicable to speedruns, but I am attempting a personal challenge run to get all 152 shrines and get the shrine reward armor by doing as little story progression as possible (no paraglider, main quests, sages, etc). So far have managed about 40ish shrines but have just come to the realization that the Suariwak Shrine will require me to get the full yiga armor set to start the blademaster questline to get inside the hideout. This is a completely personal challenge, and I am not really following a concrete rule set as of yet BUT i am curious if it is possible for the shrine armor to be the first armor set you can acquire before even stepping foot in lookout landing.
Are there any existing methods/tricks/glitches that could even have a chance of getting me back there? or is this personal endeavor too dumb to even consider.
Currently attempting on 1.2.0 but am willing to try reverting to older versions if necessary. Allowing the use of most runes/arm powers, but no camera, no paraglider, and no travel medallions at this point pre-lookout.
Small update: I have attempted "hydro clipping" in the small cave right above the shrine room. unfortunately, the river from the cave extends waaaay out from the land and seems to cover the entire hideout, shrine included. will attempt further in other locations but it is not looking good as of now
a small glimmer of hope: while the majority of the area is waterlogged, the back of wall adjacent to either side of the doorway is not, and is climbable. if I can climb over towards the doorway, there is a chance you could hop back into bounds and into the hideout no problem. whether or not this would even go well without the armor I don’t know, but I will attempt more on a completed save just to test if it’s possible at all. Here is the coordinates where I was able to somewhat consistently clip under and land on the outer wall, if anyone wants to attempt while I sleep
It is possible (in theory) !! Instead of trying to go above, I managed to hydro clip thru the wall next to the door and land on a small piece of ground behind it, climb up to on top of the hallway and clip thru with a control stick. It can probably still be possible to land on the outer wall from above, though I haven’t landed it yet. Also managed to get to the room behind the blade master with another hydro wall clip, so it’s probably possible to circumvent the quest all together. However I tested on a file with the shrine and quest already completed, so whether or not the blade master will be chill with me or not remains to be seen. Going to get supplies and try as soon as possible on the newer file

Final Update: Successfully performed both clips on new file with no issues! Guard comments on your appearance but never kicks you out, allowing you to get the blessing with no need for the armor or the quest!! No need for a paraglider at any point either. Only need to view one tear memory to preform the clip since the memories tab in the menu won’t open otherwise but other than that no issues
