Idk if i'm really allowed to post this but i'll do anyway. It's no doubt that the recent Teardown Tactical mod (https://teardownmods.com/index.php?/file/1053-teardown-tactical-demo/) will bring a big change to the teardown community. It is a big rebuild of the basics of the game and creates brand new gameplay. It is heavily inspired by old doom and duke nukem games, which makes it a great mod to speedrun. I personally think that this would be a fairly well-used category on this speedrun site. I've already speedran it and gotten a okay-ish time. And i think other people would want to do the same. The mod has gotten a fair bit of publicity by being featured on a big youtube channel "Bluedrake" and also by being featured on the front page of Teardownmods.com Altough the mod is in a demo stage and only has one map. But this is probably even better for speedrunning right now. But as the mod expands, the sub-categories would do the same.

There will probably be a Teardown series in the future. Not sure how likely it will happen right now since Teardown is still in development. Maybe if there's enough interest. Just my opinion and not an official moderator's opinion. Also:
