I'm having trouble with it

It’s difficult to explain how to do it. Your best bet is just to get a feel for the track and work out when to bound and when not to bound. Once you do both circuits and both races on each, you’ll feel so much better.

I would suggest trying strategies similar to the ones in this video (for Snowline) or this video (for Iceburn). This would be better to talk about in the Discord where there's a dedicated minigames channel however.
