First 10:44 with 6-1 FPG to save the run! I found new strats to make this run easier to pull off. The first was the high 255 6-3 framerule, and I found that by jumping onto and walking off an elevator at the beginning of the level in a 2 frame window, you are able to get either a 2 or 3 frame window for the jump in the middle of the level to avoid the elevator. The second thing I found was that in 7-4, a frame perfect jump followed by a D+R right before the maze gives you a great window to not only get a good camera scroll to secure the ultra 7-4 framerule, but it also gives you a 2 frame window to get a 4 shot kill on bowser. This run also incorporates this because one of my opening shots got blocked by the podoboo before bowser. I will almost certainly go for 10:43 in this category in the future since I only have to save 2 more framerules over this run!

11x Categories - New Timing Method

Hey Folks!

Just wanted to announce a new change to timing methods for both 11x categories. The new timing standards are as follows:

  • Timing starts from power-on/reset (or game select if you're using one of the combo cartridges).
