World 1: • Grab the whistles in 1-3 and 1-Fort • Then warp to world 2.
World 2: • Play 2-Fort • Get the whistle from the Fire Bro. • Beat the world normally.
World 3: • Beat 3-Fort 1 • Beat both Hammer Bros. • Cloud from 3-6 to 3-8 (go to 3-7 instead if you get runaway bro, make sure to get the cloud there. Use that cloud to skip 4-3 or 4-4) • Beat 3-Fort 2 • Beat the world normally
World 4: • Beat 4-Fort 1 • Get both the cloud and p-wing from the Hammer Bros. • Beat 4-Fort 2 • Warp to world 5
Worlds 5 and 7 have route changes depending on whether you go for the Wrong Warp or not.
World 5 (Normal route): • Beat 5-Fort 1 • Get the p-wing from the Hammer Bro and avoid the 2 other Hammer Bros. • Beat 5-Fort 2 • Cloud 5-9 • Beat world 5 normally
World 5 (Wrong Warp route): • Beat 5-Fort 1 • Get the p-wing from the Hammer Bro and avoid the 2 other Hammer Bros. • Beat 5-Fort 2 • Warp to world 6
World 6: • Take the first pipe and break the rock with a hammer • Play 6-Fort 1 • Use p-wing for 6-5 • Get the cloud from the Hammer Bro. • (Optional) Grab Hammer Suit from the Mushroom House • Use the hammer to skip 6-7 • Beat 6-Fort 2 • Play 6-9 (wall jump or p-wing) or 6-10 • Beat 6-Fort 3 • Beat world 6 normally
World 7 (Normal Route): • Cloud 7-4 • Use p-wing for 7-Fort 1 • Clip or use p-wing for 7-6 (if you want to use a p-wing for both 6-9 and 7-6, get another p-wing from the Piranha Plant level) • Cloud 7-9 • Beat 7-Fort 2
World 7 (Wrong Warp Route): • Cloud 7-1 • Cloud 7-4 • Use p-wing for 7-Fort 1 • Clip or use p-wing for 7-6 (if you want to use a p-wing for both 6-9 and 7-6, get another p-wing from the Piranha Plant level) • Beat 7-9 • Beat 7-Fort 2 • Enter the pipe on the left of 7-9 • Enter the pipe above the Piranha Plant (use screen scrolling to skip the level) • Play N-Spade and lose ASAP • Enter 7-1 as Fire or Hammer Mario and do the Wrong Warp (you can use the N-Spade game to get a Fire Flower if needed)
World 8: • Get 0 hands (easy) • Beat world 8 normally
