Hey everyone, I wanted to share this video that I saw get posted in Distortion2's channel. Apparently you have to get the iron insignia key and Mask of Sorrow before it works. I have not tried it yet but it seems to be a really good skip. I take no credit for finding this by the way just bringing it to your guys attention.

Has anyone got a console variant of this? I've tried testing but no matter what I do, it seems like Ethan never wants to wall clip. Could this possibly just be a PC only? I know other game like halo have different glitches for console and others only working on pc. Is this the same or am I just being dumb (hopefully noone says the latter) 😂😂

Tested more than a dozen times, the premise is to get a mask and iron badge key, otherwise you can not touch the boss fight. After the hand is broken, get the first mask and then go to the concert hall to get the iron badge key, go back to the hall and install the mask on this place (you don’t need to install it). The success is related to the angle of the bomb. After throwing it, the angle of view is aligned. In the gap between the doorpost and the door frame, it is recommended to open a stall and practice a few times. I also stopped by Heisenberg’s factory, but it seems that since the castle map is loaded and the entire factory is a texture map, I can only jump to the boss battle.
So i'm not sure if this is the best place to put this but me and a friend have been experimenting with this OOB.
We have managed to load other areas using different methods. Some places are almost always loaded like the elevator to House Beneviento, the elevator to the reservoir, the tunnel where you meet the hag and get the first winged key, the space under the Chalice Platform, the river bank with the entrance to the riverbank secret and depending on which of these you access, the crossroads where Duke hangs out.
When going to House Beneviento the game soft locks after completing the film puzzle and a few cutscenes dont trigger at all. The reservoir doesn't have enemies spawning and when you use the boat key, it eats it and wont play the cutscene thus soft locking.
we managed to walk above the corridor where you get the first winged key by throwing a pipe bomb up and getting knocked down over the terrain. Getting the key without spawning the miranda cutscene lets you load the ceremony area, Duke is left floating because his cart is not loaded and is actually back outside the castle, and none of the doors have the winged effigies or locks on them, leading to another softlock.
So far we have not managed to load the factory BUT once or twice when we loaded the ceremony area we found that the chalice podium in the center was interactable and asking for the chalice.
Side Note: Because we are trying out of bounds and skipping most of the game, we wouldnt need the mask of sorrow and the iron insignia key, you could meet duke, that gives you the restart point, enter the castle, open the door and do the Out of Bounds. If we found other ways to do this in other areas we could in theory visit load triggers to activate the other triggers we would need.
Side Note 2: If we can trigger the Dukes cutscene where he reveals what the flask is, it may just give us the first flask? been testing this possibility too.
When performing the Castle Skip, I found that when you interact with the dagger and there's that approximately 10 second delay before the cutscene begins, you can go into the inventory and organize your gear. For this section only you basically get real-time inventory as the game will pull you out of the inventory to start the cutscene after that time has elapsed. Free timesave!
I just practiced the OOB skip and going to the right when you're OOB and lining up on the side building rather than falling into the grass. Seems pretty legit! Thank you to everyone who discovered these.
