Just some random idea: if sr.com works in a reasonable way, then by deleting the "Finish Game" category, the levels and runs weren't themselves deleted, so by restoring/adding a new "Finish game" category and assigning all the runs to that via some database magic, the ILs could have been restored without adding the levels back manually.
We will hope that problem must resolved. Btw i'm first time tried submited my right runs and i can see such problems...
I have heard that Pac has a backup. I can imagine he is not very motivated to clean up the shit that some guy we trusted made.
Perhaps from now on deleting the leaderboards with SUCH A HUGE number of records should be HIGHLY PROHIBITED?
If someone (doesn't matter how big his authority is) wants to delete SO MANY records or even entire sections - first HE MUST create an appropriate topic on the forum, OR AT LEAST ask permission to delete such a big amount of data from all GTASA moderators. That is, without the permission of all main moderators, one person (whoever he is) CAN NOT remove a large number of records from the leaderboards
Seriously, speedrun.com/gtasa/individual_levels was probably the world's best database of GTASA IL's with a great amount of World Records (most likely). More than 150 IL's, a minimum of 500-1000 runs on IL leaderboards (maybe much more). Moderation of runs, rules, links to videos, description, several years of work... And now all this... just gone
So once again, the authority to remove a large number of records and entire sections must be STRICTLY LIMITED. What happened with GTASA IL's, MUST NOT happen again anywhere, especially with such a legendary game like this
P.S. Sorry for bad english
You're right Tier4Jean, which is why I say someone like Anti should never be super-mod in the first place.
I propose to unmod him,
He has a record of removing his own runs multiple times, forums threads, etc.... someone like that should NEVER have the power to remove the whole leaderboard.
If removing him makes the problem of "we need more mods" then there's plenty of SA runners who have no record of removing anything that can be modded.
KZ_FREW does not have any record of removing anything as far as I know, so he's fine, 1 Super-Mod is enough.
I am not sure why people that are not relevant to the San Andreas leaderboards keep trying to control everything.
You're not allowed to use cheats during an IL run. What he did was not a cheat; it was a tuning menu warp, which is possible without cheats so it would of course be allowed in an Any% run.
Yeah darkgeorge12 that dude had some great times, i remember he had bmx challenge 28s and the best i could get was 34s lol
Relinking all the youtube videos would take a long time, not to mention most won't have been remembered
Yes.. Racers from gta sa have nice toptimes. And now they gone.. Site Creator can't make backup? Very bad. That all records from good players just gone :(
The GTA:SA community has been deteriorating over a long period of time. Many top runners are not currently present on the leaderboard. This issue has not been seriously addressed yet, but an attempt will be made to remedy it now.
As of this news post, the San Andreas leaderboard will function in
