I've went into properties and switched the game to Japenese and i did in game but the game still shows the same gore and certain things in cutscenes.

Are you using the Microsoft Store JPN version of the game?

Switching languages will not switch versions, you are not currently using the RE7 Japanese version, you need to download the Re7 Japanese version, so there will be a harmonious bloody clip screen

Im using the Steam version

Steam sells the US version of RE7, while the Japanese version is available in the Microsoft Store
