Yo, so I'm generally not a speedrunner (and to the extent I AM one I'm really not all that competitive or active) and I currently zero interest in running this game myself, but I was mucking around with the IRL in pro mode and wound up killing the Dos Gigantes in Chapter 11 with a single shot. Dunno if it'll actually change any runs (I doubt that the NG runs would have the money routing on Pro for an extra rocket launcher at this time, and I don't know if this is already a thing in NG+ runs) but I figured I'd let this community know because at the very least I found this funny when it happened.

Looking at the footage, I just barely hit the left side (player's right) of the armored one when I did it. Don't know how easy or consistent this'd be, but (A) if it is, it's faster than killing them one at a time, and (B) if it isn't it's still funny.
Hey! Definitely a cool strat to kill them both at the same time. People tend to aim at the ground in the gap between on the floor between the two of them when the fight starts. The explosion will kill them both, it's pretty consistent. You can see it here on the current WR run:
Also, if you're not running "glitchless", then it's also worthwhile looking into the "infinite" ammo glitch that you can use with the rocket launcher. It means you can use it on verdugo, the dynamite section and then finally on the double gigante!
