Yes, it's a small room at the back of the orb receiver filled with nodraw textures that gives this weird aspect. However, it's still inbounds. Well if you are talking about the small room. After you saveglitched and I am not sure if your portals went OoB; but I am sure the room you were in is inbounds

As packsciences mentioned, it IS a room inside the game, this is how the game displays a wall without a texture, kinda weird thats true but engine wise this is not considered oob.
