I recently got NFSMW on PC and I'm sure I have the correct version, but the lap glitch won't work at all.

Can you show me an example on how you do the lap glitch? If not it works like this: you go to the track you want to glitch, set the laps to 1, continue and wait for the car to load in and then you exit. Also if you are talking about the prologue circuit race, that one can’t be lapglitched

I tried to do it before and after the prologue, I set it up on Ironwood Estates, I set the laps at 1 and the traffic at none, then I go to career then the black list in the garage, pick the circuit race and it always starts with 1/2 laps.

Try to complete a lap. iirc it shows like that in multiple races but you actually only need to finish 1.

Did you setup the lapglitch correctly, you need to back up when you are on the choose car screen then you back out

I did everything, I checked and I have 1.2 BE since I have the extra cars and challenge. I have no idea if the downpatcher works for 1.2 BE. So I’m kinda just stuck without the lap glitch.

The downpatcher only works anyways if you have a legit copy of the game. If not it doesn’t work

the downpatcher is only useful if you need to downpatch from 1.3 to 1.2, nothing to do with BE or not there is actually a tool/thing to switch between BE and non-BE 1.2 (or 1.3, it’s the same thing) (ask Google how to switch) but the real fact here is your game be defo 1.3 if you can’t lap glitch any circuit/KO, 90% sure of this or you completely ill if you don’t know how to put the lap count on 1 instead of 3

I open the game up and it says 1.2 at the bottom right corner, I've tried the glitch dozens of times. In the description of the video for how to do the lap glitch it says that the lap glitch won't work for 1.2 BE.

"The glitch is patched on PC 1.3, 1.3 Black edition, and 1.2 Black edition. Other supports haven't been tested and therefore might not work." Any chance you have a link to how to get the tool to switch or a guide?

I’m not exactly sure if we are allowed to distribute it. Just google it and you’ll find it easily

Try something like “how to convert nfs mw05 be to regular” shrug

search for MW Panel by FormatC, you’ll be able to deactivate the BE with it (basically this is a save editor but with extra stuff)
