A year back I did runs on Super Mario Galaxy 2 that did not include video, and this was when just the WR runs required video proof. Why did they get rejected now?
In August a poll was made and on majority vote the community decided to make all runs require video proof due to some runs being submitted without video being suspicious.
I did my runs before the poll was made, so they they should've stayed on because some of the runs without video proof were still there after the poll.
My 4 minute Boom Bunker Daredevil run was no where near suspicious, but my Dark Octo Army Romp run was due to the nature of the level.
I am the person who removed your runs, and I also gave you the reason for it in the rejection message.
You had a total of two times submitted, both without video. One of the times included an impossible in game time (the game only shows two decimals, not three), and therefore I decided to remove your other run as well (50% of your submissions seemed to be made up, which means we have good reason to request proof for your future submissions).
I removed runs from other users as well, as I went through all IL-boards that day. Unfortunately, a lot of impossible times had slipped through the moderation wall. A run being verified once does not mean it can't be rejected later if there's reason behind it.
@Pottoww my time was not made up, rather, it was not recorded. I did, indeed get that time.
That was back in March. Then, I had a bit of trouble with the gamepad not charging.
It is literally impossible for you to have achieved an in game time of 1:13.987, as I said.
And I checked on the leaderboards, and saw that a time of 1:13 was achievable, yet it is slower than the WR of 44 seconds.
@OddPandemonium its not the 1:13 that isn't possible. It's the .987 The IGT only goes to the Hundredths place, so a time as specific as the Thousandths is almost guaranteed faked.
The leaderboard poll results are in, here's what the majority voted for:
-
The SMG2 leaderboards now have 1P/2P subcategories for all of the full-game categories.
-
"Co-Star/No Co-Star" has been renamed to 1P/2P for both galaxy leaderboards.
-
**Tied top runs will no longer be retimed for
