Clever came up with a really good idea in a skype chat
Mission: Cayde’s Stash Weapons: Anything Rules: “The Floor is Lava”: From the very start of the mission, to mission completion you are not allowed to touch the ground. Taken Puddles, any doors or grates and rubble that lie on the ground are perfectly safe (I have pics of examples) Its 100% totally possible, I just did it.
Sounds possible gonna be hard to define what is safe and what is not and is there a penalties for touching the ground. Time loss or whole run is invalid?
doesn't look like this is going to be possible on hunters, there are too many doorways and the hunters jump mechanics can't really maneuver under it.
Looks like a titan/warlock week
After looking around the level I have found one spot that seems 100% impossible to get passed, unless there is a way to complete skip this specific section, it's basically 1 long twisting hallway near the and of the level. I'll quick post a video of it so you can see
Its 100% possible, but Its definitely not easy. I'll be posting a video of my (non-optimized) route very soon. Anything that is ¤not¤ "the floor" is fair game. A reminder: Staircases, taken puddles, rubble that lies along the doorways, and anything that lies on and covers a portion of the floor are perfectly safe to land on. If you guys feel like there needs to be a penalty for touching the ground, I think tacking on 5 seconds is a fair penalty, but its up to y'all. Jackie, If you're talking about the hallway after the taken phalanxes and fallen fighting eachother, it ¤IS¤ possible with the rubble along the walls.
SRCOTW #4 Mission:caydes stash Weapons:anything goes Rules: Floor is lava if you do not understand please read above as zecora and clever said was safe grounds.
Best of luck boys and gals.
I'm going to be the first to say I have been trying this run for a bit and I just can't get it with the amount of time I have to throw at the game I definitely will wanna retry another floor is lava in the future.
It's definitely a really good challenge for speedruns, just not for one week. In a month people would probably be able to speedrun it.
