in a few speedruns mainly 1-2 ive noticed people clip through walls using the rocket and anytime i try it, it doesnt work for me. can someone make a guide or tell me how to do it?

Depending on the run your watching, there's a very high likely hood any rocket clips you see in level runs are patch locked.

The one in 1-2 specifically was patched in the most recent semi major update (full arsenal update 4/15/24).

The wall was "untagged" ie it didnt have the proper tags for the collision system so crashing to the wall in the right way could cause the placement check to fail and put the player on the wrong side. This was remedied likely to keep players from bypassing the intended way of completing the challenge.

This sort of skip is still possible in 1-1 by the secret in the wall where you place the red key. (a demonstration can be found in full game runs)

There were several other forms of rocket clips but most of them have been patched by this point.

note: since the 1-2, 2-2 and 6-1 clips were patched, new ones are now used. ill probably be making some sort of guide on all the viable ones for current patch ^^
