Regarding the ending sequence: after the screen fades to white when killing star eater the final sequence is skippable, and I believe it might effect your time. I could be wrong about that.
Was just looking for clarification if skipping it is acceptable, or if we should be letting the full ending sequence play out.
As I understand it, currently, skipping the end sequence is bugged and causes the timer to continue to run, while letting things play out does not. Ideally it's better to not skip, but either way we'll deal with the result. hopefully that'll be fixed soon and skipping will be fine. Time is supposed to stop when the final boss is killed
Thanks for bringing this up! This needed to be addressed regardless, so I'm glad we got it out of the way
A question about timings: run time is from starting a game to the moment Star Eater dies?
The rules don't seem to be explicit. And also aren't completely clear about whether the time is real-time or in-game-timer, though there's "[the in game timer] will be used" which I feel could have a larger & more prominent place in the rule list.
I think how to time a run should be detailed in the rules very clearly, without any room for ambiguity.
I have edited rule number 3 in an attempt to remove ambiguity. I think the new wording is better, but I also recognize that there is a chance that I missed something. If that's the case, feel free to let me know.
