With the release of the 1.0 update coming up and the subsequent addition of the new final boss, the speedrun rules will change. Starting with the release of the new update, all current categories will move to "legacy" status and runs will no longer be able to be submitted for those categories. Instead, new categories will be added and the rules will be updated to reflect the changes that come with the new update (e.g. campaign mode, runs ending on wave 120, etc.). My Discord ID: primerdimer). If anyone has any requests regarding the upcoming rule changes, and have specific input they want addressed - message me by August 5th at 00:00 EST. Any messages which arrive after such time are not guaranteed to be addressed before the rule changes, and therefore may not affect the final rules for speedrunning in this category.
