Is it when you place Cappy on the globe ? Right before you enter the next level ? I am unsure on when to end the split

It can be wherever as long as you are consistent. I see some people splitting when the screen goes black after selecting the new kingdom, or when "the odyssey has been repaired/upgraded" text comes up. The only time that matters for the leaderboards is when you start the timer, and stopping after you shoot out of the wire on the moon. The rest of the splits are for your convenience, so make/split them however you like

I see. and when I upload a run, do i have to have the timer in it ?

It's not required, but it's helpful for the mods when verifying

Use OBS if you have a capture card. Just window capture LiveSplit with game footage and resize and it should be good

yes, but there is a delay between what shows up on my screen and what shows up on the capture card, so i'm not sure if i can do that

I have a delay aswell, i just split dependant on what is shown on my obs so it looks normal on video.

I like to split on the last "input" of each kingdom, so most of the time is when you press "A" on the "Odyssey reapired" text. On Cap Kingdom it would be like at the end(when you shoot out of the wire) On Cloud it would be when you skip the last cutscene before you wake up in Lost. Etc.

I personally do it when the bubble on the odyssey is fulled and pop, it is a question of preference :)
