I feel like the Co-Op bosses category should be split based on if the players are all fighting the same boss together, or they split up, as if only one person in four has a pc to record on, they just cant compete with runs where they split up, because they can only do one boss at a time, vs 4 at a time
Hello. This might be a bad suggestion because I am not a speed runner so I apologize. I often watch speed runners to see if I can incorporate anything into my own game play for time saving purposes.
I think a daily, or semi-daily activity related speedrun might be something you would want to consider. This might not be a traditional category within SRing but has a lot of potential for competition because of how many players have been doing this daily, or semi-daily. It would be a good opportunity to showcase the SR community maybe as well.
They fall under 2 categories: investigation (artifact) exploration routes, as well as crystal chunk routes.
These are highly repeatable but can essentially be attempted only once per day per account for (investigations), and 2-3 days for crystal chunks, depending on the 'route' as there is RNG involved in non Chasm specific routes IIRC.
I think at the very least, a investigation category would be amazing and something that laymen/non SRs would enjoy watching if visibility is something to be considered and has potential for a lot of different variations in format
please give it some consideration and maybe a response
three ideas:
-
I don't know if this exists already, but speed run for each domain challenge at every level
-
max level up for each character
-
completion of each group of achievements, like completing the entire "Chasmlighter" or "Meetings In Outrealm: Series I". Also, this could be edited to have all the achievements in a series, so all the ones in Meetings In Outrealm would be combined. (I think this would be a good idea as an alternative to possibly having a "Max Exploration" leaderboard)
I'm not a speedrunner and probably never will be, but I would love to see actual speedrunners try some of these :)
Daily commissions. There could be a split between regions or just any region. I'll be speedrunning this regardless, though
there is the new caesaruim palace challenge in 4.6, someone has to keep track of the world record, perhaps this is the place? or you could make it "fastest to 100 (or 50 or whatever) kills"
I mean, since we have them now in the game, we could make leaderboards for the Local Legends of Fontaine and Natlan
Since Hoyo is not adding more One-Time domains, i think we can also Speedrun those, it will be fun to see what people can come up
The Domain category has been added to the Level Leaderboard.
The Golden House also has the Domain leaderboard.
Other than the normal domains, wich we alreay have the leaderboards for, we could also add the domains that give the rewars only one time like: Temple of the Wolf, Temple of the Falcon, The Dark Valley, Etc.
For the time i think that it should stars once the loading screen disappears and stops when the loading screen of when you exit the domain starts appearing.
Idk, it could sound neat, it's both a combat and a movement challenge.
One simple reason is that no one suggests it.
Another reason would be that unlike bosses, some Local Legends, once defeated, do not appear until the next day.
Like the Elite Enemies categories we are only allowed one run per day.
Personally, I think it is an interesting category.
Hello,
I recently became interested in the Genshin Impact speedruns and I realized that in the section:
- Full Game -> Chapter Any%
There are only 3 chapters, I don't know if it is possible to add the other chapters that have been added in the game to date, like: Sumeru and Fontaine, I'm actually quite interested in these categories, I don't know if it's possible but it would be interesting to try,
Thank you.
Like the Dandy Races, we could also speedrun the new Natlan Warrior's Challenges
Spiral Abyss
The monsters from 1 to 8 levels are fixed, and the buff is also fixed, so I think you can make a speedrun from 1 to 8 levels
