This guide is meant to be a hub of all the basic information needed to get started with running the game, as well as known glitches and exploits to help gather all the information we have in one place. This guide is NOT meant to be all-encompassing, and while it will be updated frequently, definitely check out the other guides (or make other guides) for more detailed and specific information. #LiveSplit Setup & Configuration
This section is mostly for new runners who need help setting up LiveSplit, but I would recommend skimming through it even if you are already familiar with LiveSplit, as some of the settings can be abnormal for this run.

## LiveSplit Information
LiveSplit is a program used for timing runs in real-time, with lots of handy features such as removing load times automatically from your runs. LiveSplit is very customizable, and so I will not be going over every option you can modify on LiveSplit, but there are many tutorials out there for those who wish. 

## Basic Setup
You can download LiveSplit from their official website **[here](http://livesplit.org/downloads/)**, it should be the first link at the top. This will give you a .zip file. Unzip this and run the program. It should appear as a resizeable timer that should stay above any programs you have running by default (like the browser your reading this on)

If you right-click on the window a menu will pop up with options to access the different settings of the timer, the three most important ones are *Edit Splits*, *Layout Settings*, and *Settings*. Let's start out on that last one, labeled *Settings*

Most of what's under settings you can ignore for now, as most settings default to what most people use, however, there are some settings you are going to want to edit.
