Some players have asked for a button that, when held, will automatically skip the dialogue cutscenes and level display before levels. This would reduce inconsistencies in getting cutscene skips "just right" and make runs more consistent, and it would allow players on keyboard to compete again because cutscene skips can only be executed on gamepad.
I'd like to see a consensus from the community on whether or not this is something you all want to see and think is fair, so please weigh in in this thread. I'd particularly like to hear from anyone who has a sub 7m30s so that's currently: WailmerNoir, Chounard, myztery, bitpix3l, Mstruffles, and sidsef, but anyone else please also give your opinion if you want to.

I'm 100% for it. Something like holding either bumper and it just skips straight through would be amazing.
Absolutely! I agree with Chounard, holding a bumper down right after hitting a flag pole sounds great.
