I'm looking for and documenting version differences in all three versions of the game (EGA, VGA, CD).

On EGA (16 color version), you can use map in Hook Isle outside area in order to be teleported to the beginning of the room. You could do this after hiring Meathook for your crew to skip having to use rubber chicken on cable to go back across the cliff.

The current WR video doesn't use this, but I'm not sure if EGA version is viable.

I haven't given the EGA version a try yet, but that's a very cool trick for sure! I'm not sure if EGA will keep up with the DOS version most runners are using now due to the speedglitch right at the beginning, but probably worth a deeper look (plus the EGA palette is the best).
