Over winter break I learned smallants smo any% beginners guide. I just finished my first run with a 1:30:44, is that a good time for my first run?
its your own opinion if its a good time so are you happy with it
That’s a pretty good time, my first run was a 1:39, so you got a better time than my first run.
But yeah, if you think that run was an accurate display of your skills, then it’s a good time. I have a 1:25 rn, but ik I can do so much better, so I’m gonna try to get a sub 1:10, but it is very subjective.
Thanks! My next goal is maybe sub 1:25 because I lost like 3 minutes in Luncheon because I kept failing the trick jump up the wall to get the ground pound moon before the multi moon. Edit: I also got a pro con for Christmas yesterday so I hope that will improve my times
Yeah, I always feel like bashing my head into a wall when I practice salt triple and that jump and stuff.
One thing, Tomshi's beginner tutorial is less outdated than smallant's and has newer found tricks that would help improve your time

Here's the playlist for that
Yes, I think 1:30 is a great time for a first run. I also followed Smallant's guide and I believe my first run was a 1:48?
Also, yeah, definitely use Tomshi's guide. It's much more up to date. Lot's of free time save.
