I've noticed that no one ticks using an emulator on this speed run game, are you not allowed to emulate this game whilst speedrunning.

It is very rare for somebody to use emulators, if isn't for practice. Especially with the pc version being so easily available.

yes but im not sure my computer will run the game properly, i have a lot of trouble with my computer running certain games on steam as its only a laptop

As far as I know running the game on emulator is not any easier on the PC than running the PC port, I might be wrong though.

I don't see the GPU, but the processor seems decent. Should work. I have to say tho: Win10 and FFVIII are not the best friends.

If you were to do a full run on Emulator, then i would add it to the board, yes.

You should know though that Emulators have usually a low loading speed, so you will notice a time-difference.

I have the psx emulator, and also i have the steam version, but i wanna to complete the game first, i never played this game, so i have the need to play it with calmly first.

I have a minilaptop, with 2gb ram, a Intel celeron of 1.44 ghz, and a intel graphics integrated. the final fantasy 8 runs good in my minilaptop playing on a emulator
