I got the goldsource package installed, i got the game on steam and all that. Everything launches properly, but when i try to start/ load a game it loads normally for a few seconds and then gets stuck. Any help would be appreciated

Goldsrc package started crashing randomly recently, you should switch to 2005 package instead

thanks for the reply, on the 05 package the game just closes itself after loading for a while. btw when i use the 05 gldsrc package and use arrows (mouse doesnt work obviously) to navigate in menu i just switch between 'friends' and 'server' - how the hell do i navigate to new game or any other option in the menu?

thanks, cristhian. about the other thing - i managed to actually get into a map by changing rendering software to D3D and color quality to medium, but there are 2 problems still: -game crashes when map changes -bunnnymod commands dont work, altough the counter is there im on win7
