@1 Sorry for the late reply. I appreciate that the intent here is to be transparent, but I feel like the information that someone is banned should not be accessible to anyone other than the mods and the party banned, and the option to share it to a wider public should be left to the latter. You can keep a list internally and when someone in the list submits a run you can be like "Insta-rejected because you are a banned user". That would be much better. Just reading through this thread shows why it is a shit-show.
Speedrunning is a community driven activity. We aren't here as mods to run a leaderboard as one authoritative dictatorship, but to run the leaderboard the way the community sees fit for the community. Since the whole point of a mod team is to serve the community.
Just reading through this thread shows why it is a shit-show.
This is Minecraft Bedrock, and as such a large portion of the users you're going to see here (like 90% of them) as most likely under 12 years old. Most active community members haven't actually sent anything here.
I feel like the community has a right to know why a user was banned so they can give their input on the situation. Also it's nice to know why people are banned because it really does suck when things are kept closed and people don't get to know what's going on.
he made a thread that said "im 10 do i need to be age to speedrun"
got banned for that
he's trying to say its a joke now

@1 If thats how this game's community wants it then fair enough. Its weird for me because I have seen no other community do this. But obviously I am not even nearly knowledgeable to know the specifics of this community and why this was made, so you do you. Also I get the point about outsiders making the thread look worse than it actually is. Hopefully I dont look like one of them lol.

Speedrunning like mango mentioned is an extremely community based thing and if we can help any other game moderators by letting them know the specifics of how they cheated etc then they can make a fairer assessment of how likely the individual would cheat in there respective game. The second point is I would honestly say bedrock really doesn't have a super toxic community which means instead of just bullying people who cheated we just disregard what they say and this lets us know who to disregard. also on the no other community does this part I think that's because most other community's would be too toxic to do this (Such as java referenced by both the dream situation and others)

For top Windows runners, you still have to do PowerShell verification.
For Ps4/Ps5, this rule
