Submission Queue

Hello, I'm still new to this site. Can someone please explain how the queue system works? Is it based on submission date or the date the run is played on? And if I edit the submission with a new time/date/VOD, will it be pushed back?

Thanks in advance for the response, I'm sorry if there's already a thread with a same topic. Cheers.

@CursedToast Any news for my submission? I've seen runs from 27th-1st got verified right away meanwhile mine has not.

No run is being verified right away. You are in a que and just need to be patient.

@kibowman Your runs are verified now, because we caught up to them in queue.

A couple additional words on the verification queue. Don’t edit your submissions after you’ve sent them, unless you realize you’ve put wrong information in them. Just make a new submission for each new PB run. It appears that you edited your submission with your new PB times, and each time when the run date was updated it moved your submission away from the bottom of queue. With the volume of submissions right now, it would seem like editing the existing one instead of making a new submission would be helping us out by not adding to the queue. Idk if that’s why you were editing your submission instead of submitting new ones, but all it does is make it take longer to get to any of your runs.

When I am verifying runs, I am starting from the bottom and moving up, which means I am working on the oldest runs first. Since it has been taking time to get to runs because of the volume, if I see that a person at the bottom of the queue who has been waiting for a submission to be verified has a faster time for that category/run I will look at their newest PB submission for that category/run no matter if it was the same day as the one at the bottom of queue or if they just submitted it right before I updated the queue and I verify their best time. I feel like that’s fair, since that runner has been waiting for us to get to them at all with the way the submissions have been coming in. After verifying their best run, I will usually reject out the slower times and explain in the rejection message “faster time has been verified” and sometimes I add a lame/bad joke about how slow things have been because I am aware of how frustrating it can be to have to wait.

Doing it that way is keeping the queue from backing up while at the same time getting to everyone as fairly as I can be, imo.
