(3D All Stars Theory) What if mario 64 16 speedruns was still possible?

the bunny clip (or mip clip) is a glitch that allow you to use the bunny to go throught doors, now you use that bunny twice, one to go throught the first door in the basement, then the second door leading to bowser in the fire sea. however... since as long as you doesn't grab MIP star, he doesn't disapear (or it seem like so) i was wondering, would it be possible for someone to use mip to clip throught more doors, all the way throught the locked key door requiring the bowser mentioned previously, Then use mip to clip throught the stair door which usually require a BLJ. Thus reaching the room in which have the door leading to the endless stairs, now there a problem with this, even if all of this setup was possible, (if anyone willing to try, do it im fairly busy these days still getting used to the control xDD) but even if it worked, the endless stair just cant be skipped with a bunny you know? i doubt mister bunny has the ability to give us a golden mushroom straight outta mario kart wii, so this give us a problem, there is however an tactic that i remembered, most tas will first frame wall kick off the walls and chain it till they gain enough speed to just first frame wall kick a certain way facing upward, thus propelling mario throught the endless stair barrier and reaching the bowser entrance, this tactic is almost imposible to pull off, but hey we were trying carpetless for years thinking it was ''tas only'' but a human did pull it off a few times. not in a run, but who know we might get there one day.. so if carpetless is possible, would this be possible? and assuming the bunny tactic doesnt work at all (considering keys door tend to not ''Load'' things properly unless you go throught them normally) would it still be do able with Insanely precise inputs? Can a human even get this far?

Thing is as soon as you go through the basement key door, mips unloads. If you would pass that door without walking through the regular way, there would be a black void.

EDIT: This is because walking through the key doors triggers basement/lobby/upstairs loading. This is the same reason you cannot get upstairs with LBLJ on the original version of the game: You could pass the key door, but there is only black void, as upstairs does not load as long as you do not pass through it the regular way. This is why even for TAS 1 key is the fastest possible way to beat the game as long as ACE is not discovered in SM64

solo se que se descubrio una manera de saltarse las escaleras infinitas en 3d all stars

@Yoshiabel First of all it would be nice if you could stick to the english language, especially in a discussion that was started in english. Some people might consider it very rude to just switch languages within one discussion.

For those who do not understand spanish: this is what a translation software I used translated his answer to: "I only know that a way was discovered to skip the infinite stairs in 3d all stars"

So to address what Yoshiabel actually said: Just because a way is discovered that does not make that way humanly possible or even RTA viable. The only strat I know that builds up enough speed to skip the endless staircase uses a large number of 1st frame wallkicks. As that is frame perfect, you have 1/30 of a second for each wallkick. Performing that while going relatively normal speeds is already difficult to do once, which is why islandhop is something not recommended for beginners. When going high speeds and having to press faster and faster, getting the perfect timing for a wallkick becomes harder and harder. The Endless staircase skip I know of takes about 120 to 140 first frame wallkicks. Let's be VERY generous and say 100 wallkicks. This means you now have to do 100 first frame wallkicks in a row. Let's calculate with an average chance of 95% to hit each wallkick, which sound pretty generous to me as we are also factoring in the insanely fast moving ones with weird camera angles to deal with. This now gets us to a 0,6% likelyhood of success. So even if we stacked all the odds in favour of the player we would be at 1 attempt out of 167 working, without having factored in the insanity of also managing the camera properly during all of this, having to hit the perfect angle at the start of all of this and also stacking the odds for hitting 1st frame wallkicks at high speeds quite far in favour of the player in my eyes. Also this took the TAS over 40 seconds. Keeping focused for 40 seconds as a human without being distracted once is pretty hard to do. Taking realistic odds and factoring everything in we are EASILY under 1 in 10k or even 1 in 100k attempts working. And I do not even know if THAT is still generous, factoring in human weaknesses such as tilting and stuff. And those might be the odds for someone who already practiced this specific trick. If I'd have to guess I would even say it is completely humanly impossible to pull that one off. As long as there is no new strat found to bypass the endless staircase (and for lower categories also the earlier Star Doors), 31/16/1/0 Stars is completely off limits.
