New Strategy for Curry Runs

I've been testing different date exploits for the past couple of months, and I have a method to make Curry runs possible without relying on the "Invite Others" Raid Date Exploit (which is banned).

I call it Save Time Abuse, or STA. Essentially, the game saves the current time when you save the game. If you load the game and the time happens to be the next day, the game will advance the day once you load the file, which will also reroll the stock of the Food Shop. Simply:

  1. Set the time around 9:30 PM (or however you feel you can complete Gym 3 and collect berries minus 12:00 AM, that's optimally when you would collect the remaining Food Items) BEFORE starting the game.

  2. Save in front of the Food Shop you want specific stock for (probably Hammerlocke Hills) at 11:59 PM or less (doesn't really matter when, but you want to be fairly close 11:59 PM for the next step).

It should be noted that for whatever reason, going into the Home menu to quickly check the time can trigger this game's anti-cheat (I don't know why it does this, but this is Gamefreak so I'm not surprised). Using the Quick Menu to check time doesn't trigger it though (hold home menu button to access it).

  1. Wait until midnight, check the stock, if it doesn't have what you need, reset, and the shop should have new stock.

Really, most of the shop exclusive items are in Hammerlocke Hills (the other shop has 1 exclusive item), so you'd be resetting the stock for that shop lol (there is one specific pool that gives you all the exclusive items).

Anyways, with these strats, no need to really use the (banned) date exploit to make Curry runs reasonable. Probably will post this in Cat Ext forums whenever those are made lol.
