That looks like a pretty important difference for 100%, and I totally agree people might want to run on the original version and compete on that, even tho the game is basically the same. In some communities, such differences make the leaderboard splits into multiple categories while in other communities if you want the WR you have to play on the right version.
The decision is really up to the community and a community vote should be made.
If mods don't do that, I would probably quit the leaderboard too.

I've learned because of the whole drama thing, it's okay to have a community leaderboard and not a factual one. Look at the drama regarding speedrunners who've sexually/mentally abused others, and therefore are deleted from the leaderboards due to this kind of association. And that's fine.
If lelreset is listed despite his opposition, Crucial should be listed too.
I don't care what you guys gonna do about it, but protest is a protest. Reset removed his runs not because of 'how he felt' but instead because of 'stupid moderation'. Dude, this is a protest after all. He deleted the WR run from leaderboards so leaderboards MUST respect his opinion. Man... 'yo speedrun.com rules are fucking terrible so we shouldn't obey 'em'. Then just don't fucking be here!? Don't just post your runs here - on this website. THIS website is your hotel and you must obey its rules to continue living here. Jesus, this community is so ignorant.
P.S. I don't really like Reset as a person, but his opinion is his opinion and moderation must respect it. Otherwise, it's not moderation. It's just having some fun around doing whatever the fuck they want to.
Given the circumstances under which Crucial deleted his runs, we believe it's possible to reason him into submitting his runs back himself - the exact opposite to Reset. After the matters which made him make that decision are settled, this conversation can resume.
Besides, reset's runs aren't on the board, only his times. He owns nothing that is on the board.
Once the issues that led me to remove my runs are resolved (which should be soon) then I will resubmit my runs.
Will the IL's get an Original/Remastered filter as well?
The GTA:SA community has been deteriorating over a long period of time. Many top runners are not currently present on the leaderboard. This issue has not been seriously addressed yet, but an attempt will be made to remedy it now.
As of this news post, the San Andreas leaderboard will function in
